Stoga je Jahve doveo na njih vojskovođe asirskoga kralja. Uhvativši Manašea kukama, svezali su ga u dvoje mjedene verige i odveli u Babilon.

Por esse motivo, o SENHOR enviou os comandantes do exército do rei da Assíria contra eles, os quais capturaram Manassés, aprisionaram-no mediante um gancho fixado nas narinas e algemas de bronze, e o levaram para a Babilônia.

Pelo que o Senhor trouxe sobre eles os comandantes do exército do rei da Assíria, os quais prenderam Manassés com ganchos e, amarrando-o com cadeias de bronze, o levaram para Babilônia.
