Leviticus 4:33
Good News Translation
You shall put your hand on its head and kill it on the north side of the altar, where the animals for the burnt offerings are killed.

New Revised Standard Version
You shall lay your hand on the head of the sin offering; and it shall be slaughtered as a sin offering at the spot where the burnt offering is slaughtered.

Contemporary English Version
Lead the lamb to the altar and lay your hand on its head, before having it killed.
