1Now these are the kings of the land, that the Israelites attacked and captured of the land east of the Jordan, from the river Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
2Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is on the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, to the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
3And from the plain to the Sea of Chinneroth on the east, and to the Sea of the plain of the Salt Sea on the east, the way to Beth-jeshimoth; and from southward to the slopes of Pisgah;
4And the border of Og, king of Bashan, who was of the remnant of the giants, who lived at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5And reigned in Mount Hermon, and in Salecah, and in all Bashan, to the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and half of Gilead, the border of Sihon, king of Heshbon.
6These did Moses, the servant of the LORD, and the children of Israel captured; and Moses gave it to the Reubenites, Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for a possession.
7And these are the thirty-one kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this (west) side Jordan, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak, that rises toward Seir; which Joshua gave to the people of Israel for a possession, according to their tribal divisions,
8They included the mountains, valleys, plains, springs, wilderness, and the Negev country; the lands of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and the Jebusites:
9The kings of Jericho; of Ai, which is beside Bethel;
10Of Jerusalem; of Hebron;
11Of Jarmuth; of Lachish;
12Of Eglon; of Gezer;
13The king of Debir; the king of Geder;
14The king of Hormah; the king of Arad;
15Of Libnah; of Adullam;
16Of Makkedah; of Bethel;
17Of Tappuah; of Hepher;
18Of Aphek; of Las-sharon;
19Of Madon; of Hazor;
20Of Shimron-meron; of Achshaph;
21Of Taanach; of Megiddo;
22Of Kedesh; of Jokneam in Carmel;
23Of Dor in the height of Dor (Naphoth-dor);Of Goiim in Gilgal;
