Theophanies are direct manifestations of God to humans, often accompanied by awe-inspiring signs. One of the most notable theophanies is the burning bush encountered by Moses. In Exodus 3:2-4 , "The Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that the bush was on fire but was not consumed." This miraculous event signified God's holy presence and His call to deliver Israel from Egypt.

2. Pillar of Cloud and Fire

During the Exodus, God's presence was visibly demonstrated through the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night. Exodus 13:21 states, "And the LORD went before them in a pillar of cloud to guide their way by day and in a pillar of fire to give them light by night, so that they could travel by day or night." We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."
