Peace

Peace, in the biblical sense, is more than the absence of conflict; it is a profound sense of well-being and wholeness that comes from a right relationship with God. In the New Testament, the Greek word for peace, "eirēnē," reflects the Hebrew concept of "shalom," which encompasses completeness, safety, and welfare. In Galatians 6:15-16, Paul writes, "For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation. Mercy

The mercy of God is foundational to the Christian faith, as it is through His mercy that believers are saved. Ephesians 2:4-5 states, "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved." This mercy is not only the means by which believers are brought into the New Creation but also a quality that they are called to exhibit in their own lives.

In the Beatitudes, Jesus declares, "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy" (Matthew 5:7). This beatitude highlights the reciprocal nature of mercy in the life of a believer. As recipients of God's mercy, Christians are called to extend mercy to others, reflecting the character of their Heavenly Father.

The Apostle James further emphasizes the importance of mercy in the life of a believer, stating, "For judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment" (James 2:13). This underscores the transformative power of mercy as a mark of the New Creation, where believers are called to live out the mercy they have received.
