Noah and the Flood: In
Genesis 6, God warns of the coming flood due to humanity's wickedness. Noah is instructed to build an ark as a means of salvation for his family and the animals. Despite the warning, the people continue in their ways until the flood comes.
Genesis 6:13 states, "Then God said to Noah, 'The end of all living creatures has come before Me, because through them the earth is filled with violence. Now behold, I will destroy both them and the earth.'"

John the Baptist: As the forerunner of Christ, John the Baptist warns of the need for repentance and the coming judgment. In
Matthew 3:2 , he declares, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
