The concept of God's faithfulness is deeply rooted in the Old Testament, where it is often linked to His covenantal promises. In Genesis 17:7, God establishes His covenant with Abraham, saying, "I will establish My covenant as an everlasting covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you." This promise underscores God's commitment not only to Abraham but to his descendants, highlighting a generational aspect of divine faithfulness.
