Israel’s God summons every nation to worship Him. Israel’s place among surrounding empires testified that the God of Israel alone rules every people and king. Paul cites this call in Romans 15:11 as evidence that Gentile inclusion in the salvation of Christ fulfills Scripture. Every ethnic group is invited to render joyful, public honor to the LORD. Worship belongs to Him not because all cultures are identical, but because all humanity shares one Creator, stands under His righteous rule, and may receive mercy through His Son. The repeated summons strengthens the universal scope of God’s redemptive purpose: the nations are not merely observers of Israel’s God but are called to join His redeemed people in praise. The day will come when every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10–11).

God’s covenant love sustained Israel through deliverance from Egypt, preservation in the wilderness, discipline for sin, and restoration after exile. His mercy did not rest on Israel’s merit but on His own covenant purpose. In Jesus Christ, God’s steadfast love is revealed fully, as He gave His Son for sinners and gathers a people from every nation into His covenant family.

and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.

The Lord fulfills every promise He makes and remains true despite human unfaithfulness. His faithfulness guarded the promises given to Abraham, preserved David’s royal line, and brought the promised Messiah into the world. Christ’s resurrection confirms that God’s saving purpose cannot fail, giving His people lasting confidence in His promises.
