And I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, a man, and in his hand was a measuring line.

And I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

And behold, the angel who was speaking with me went forth, and another angel was coming out to meet him.

And he said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will sit in the open country, because of the multitude of men and livestock in her midst.

And I will be unto her, a declaration of YHWH, a wall of fire all around, and I will be as glory in her midst!’”

“Up, up, and flee from the land of the north,” a declaration of YHWH, “For like the four winds of the heavens, I have scattered you?,” a declaration of YHWH.

“Up, O Zion, Escape, you who are dwelling with the daughter of Babylon.”
