27 “Please come,” said Balak (devastator) (not of the people), “I will take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God {Elohim} that you curse them for me from there.” 28 And Balak (devastator) took Balaam (not of the people) to the top of Peor (cleft), which overlooks the wasteland (Jeshimon). 29 Then Balaam (not of the people) said (devastator), “Build for me seven altars here, and prepare for me seven bulls and seven rams.” 30 So Balak (devastator) did as Balaam (not of the people) had instructed, and he offered a bull and a ram on each altar.
