And he spoke to all the congregation and said to them, Depart from the tents of these sinful men and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in their sins.

So they withdrew from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents with their wives and their sons and their little ones.

And Moses said, Hereby you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of my own mind.

If these men die the common death of all men or if they be visited after the visitation of all men, then the LORD has not sent me.

But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all things that belong to them, and they go down alive with all that belongs to them into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have provoked the LORD.

And when Moses had finished speaking these words, the ground split asunder under them;

And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households and all the men who were with Korah and all their goods.

They, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the congregation.

And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them, saying, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
