1 And on His having come down from the mountain, many crowds followed Him. 2 And behold, a leper, having come, was kneeling down to Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me.” 3 And having stretched out the hand, He touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. 4 And Jesus says to him, “See that you tell no one. But go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.” 5 And on His having entered into Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him 6 and saying, “Lord, my servant is laid in the house a paralytic, terribly tormented.” 7 And He says to him, “I, having gone, will heal him.” 8 But answering, the centurion said, “Lord, I am not fit that You should enter under my roof; but only say a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does.” 10 And having heard, Jesus marveled and said to those following, “Truly I say to you?, with no one in Israel did I find such great faith. 11 And I say to you? that many will come from east and west and will recline with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens.
