22 And all this took place in order that the Word, having been spoken by the Lord through the prophet, might be fulfilled, saying; 23 Behold, the virgin shall have gestation and bring forth a son, and they will call his name Emmanuel, which is interpreted, God is with us. 24 And Joseph rising from sleep did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; 25 and he took his wife to himself, and did not know her until she brought forth a son, and called his name Jesus.
