1 And He went another time into a synagogue, where there was a man that had a withered hand: 2 and they watched Him, whether He would heal him on the sabbath-day, that they might accuse Him. 3 And He said to the man, that had the withered hand, Rise up into the midst: 4 then saith He to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? but they were silent. 5 And when He had looked round upon them with indignation, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He saith to the man, Stretch out thine hand: and he stretched it out, and his hand was made as sound as the other. 6 And the pharisees went out, and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how to destroy Him: Mark 3:1-6, Worsley New Testament.
