47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry aloud and say, O son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many rebuked him to keep quiet, but he cried out the more, saying, O son of David, have mercy on me. 49 Then Jesus stopped and commanded to call him. So they called the blind man, and said to him, Have courage, rise; he is calling you. 50 And the blind man threw off his robe, and he got up, and went to Jesus. 51 Jesus said to him, What do you wish me to do for you?
