1 When He completed all His words in the ears of the people, He came into Capernaum. 2 And the servant of a certain centurion, being sick, was about to die, who was precious to him. 3 And hearing about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, asking Him that having come He may save his servant. 4 And they, having come to Jesus, continued to entreat Him earnestly, saying, That he to whom He will do this is worthy: 5 for he loves our race, and himself built for us a synagogue.
