1 And on the first of the Sabbath, at the depth of the dawn, they came to the sepulcher, bearing the aromatics which they had prepared, 2 And they found the stone, having been rolled away from the sepulcher. 3 And coming in they found not the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it came to pass, while they were at a loss concerning this, and behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: 5 and they being afraid, and turning their face towards the ground, they said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but He is risen. Remember how He spoke to you, being with you in Galilee, 7 Saying That it behooveth the Son of man to be delivered into the hands of sinners, and to be crucified, and to rise again on the third day.
