1 And He said to His disciples, “It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2 It is better for him if a millstone is put around his neck and he is thrown into the sea than that he might cause to stumble one of these little ones. 3 Take heed to yourselves: If your brother should sin, rebuke him; and if he should repent, forgive him. 4 And if he should sin against you seven times in the day, and seven times he should return to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you will forgive him.” 5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Add to our faith!” 6 And the Lord said, “If you? have faith as a grain of mustard, you? would have said to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would have obeyed you?. 7 And which of you? having a servant plowing or shepherding, the one having come in out of the field, will say to him, ‘Having come, immediately recline’? 8 But will he not say to him, ‘Prepare what I may eat, and having girded yourself about, serve me while I eat and drink; and after these things you will eat and drink’?
