36 Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers? 37 “The one who showed him mercy (compassion), replied the expert in the law. Then Jesus (YHWH saves) told him, “Go and do likewise. 38 As they traveled along, Jesus entered a village where a woman named Martha (the lady) welcomed Him into her home. 39 She had a sister named Mary (beloved), who sat at the Lord’s {Kyriou} feet listening to His message. 40 But Martha (the lady) was distracted by all the preparations to be made {diakonian}. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord {Kyrie}, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me! 41 “Martha (the lady), Martha, the Lord {Kyrios} replied, “you are worried and upset about many things. 42 But only one thing is necessary.
