40 If they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their wickedness with which they transgressed against me, and also that they have walked contrary to me; 41 And that I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies; and if then their uncircumcised heart shall be humbled, and they then shall accept the punishment of their iniquity; 42 Then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
