33 And I will scatter you⁺ among the nations and draw out after you⁺ a sword. And your⁺ land will be desolate and your⁺ cities will become waste. 34 Then the land will enjoy its sabbaths, all the days of the desolation—and you⁺ are in the land of your⁺ enemies. Then the land shall rest and enjoy its sabbaths. 35 All the days of the desolation it shall rest, for it did not rest in your⁺ Sabbaths, when you⁺ dwelt in it. 36 And those remaining of you⁺, I will send faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies, and the sound of a shaken leaf will cause them to flee, and they will flee as though fleeing from a sword, and they will fall when none pursues. 37 And they will stumble over one another as it were before a sword, when none pursues. And you⁺ shall have no standing before the face of your⁺ enemies. 38 And you⁺ shall perish among the nations, and the land of your⁺ enemies shall eat you⁺ up. 39 And those who are left of you⁺ shall waste away in their iniquity in the lands of your⁺ enemies, and also in the iniquities of their fathers they shall waste away with them.
