4 So Ephraim (doubly fruitful) and Manasseh (causing to forget), the sons of Joseph (YHWH has added), received their inheritance. 5 This was the territory of the descendants of Ephraim (doubly fruitful) by their clans: The border of their inheritance went from Ataroth-addar (crowns of glory) in the east to Upper Beth-horon (house of hollowness) 6 and out toward the Sea. From Michmethath (hiding place) on the north it turned eastward toward Taanath-shiloh (approach to Shiloh) and passed by it to Janoah (He rests) on the east. 7 From Janoah (He rests) it went down to Ataroth (crowns) and Naarah (maiden), and then reached Jericho (city of palms) and came out at the Jordan (flowing down).
