15 And Moses had given to the tribe of the sons of Reuben by their clans. 16 And their territory was from Aroer which is on the bank of the River Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba, 17 Heshbon and all its cities that are in the plain, Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon, 18 and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath, 19 and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar on the hill in the valley, 20 and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth, 21 and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses had struck, and with it the princes of Midian (Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba), princes of Sihon dwelling in the land. 22 And Balaam son of Beor, the soothsayer, the sons of Israel killed with the sword, among those who were killed by them. 23 And the border of the sons of Reuben was the Jordan and its bank.
