1 And after these things, Jesus was walking in Galilee, for He was not wanting to walk in Judea because the Jews were seeking to kill Him. 2 Now the feast of the Jews—that of Booths—was near. 3 Therefore His brothers said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples will also see Your works that You do. 4 For no one does anything in secret and himself seeks to be in public. If You do these things, manifest Yourself to the world.” 5 For not even His brothers were believing in Him. 6 Therefore Jesus says to them, “My time is not yet present, but your? time is always ready. 7 The world is not able to hate you?; but it hates Me, because I testify about it that its works are evil. 8 You? go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, because My time has not yet been fulfilled.” 9 And having said these things Himself, He remained in Galilee. 10 But when His brothers went up to the feast, then He also went up—not openly, but as in secret. 11 Therefore the Jews were seeking Him in the feast and were saying, “Where is that One?” 12 And there was much murmuring about Him among the crowds. Indeed, some were saying, “He is good.” But others were saying, “No, but He deceives the crowd.” 13 No one, however, was speaking publicly about Him, because of the fear of the Jews. 14 And it being now the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and was teaching. 15 Therefore the Jews were marveling, saying, “How has this One known writings, not having learned?” 16 Therefore Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not of Me, but of the One having sent Me. 17 If anyone should desire to do His will, he will know concerning the teaching, whether it is from God, or I speak from Myself.
