1 And the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Now Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the wedding. 3 And when the wine ran out, Jesus' mother said to him, |They have no wine.| 4 Jesus said to her, |Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.| 5 His mother said to the servants, |Whatever he says to you, do it.| 6 Now there were six stone water jars set there after the Jewish manner of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece. 7 Jesus said to them, |Fill the water jars with water.| They filled them up to the brim.
