12 And because of this, Pilate wanted to release him; but the Jews cried out, If you release this man you are not a friend of Caesar; for whoever makes himself a king is against Caesar. 13 When Pilate heard this word, he brought Jesus outside; then he sat down on the judgment seat, at a place which is called the Stone Pavement but in Hebrew it is called, Gabbatha. 14 It was Friday of the passover, and it was about six o’clock; and he said to the Jews, Behold your king! 15 But they cried out, Take him away, take him away, crucify him, crucify him.
