1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said: 2 “Until when will you? set snares for words? Consider, and afterward we will speak. 3 Why are we regarded as cattle, as stopped up in your? eyes? 4 The one tearing himself in his anger—for your sake will the earth be forsaken and the rock moved from its place? 5 Indeed, the light of the wicked goes out, and the flame of his fire does not shine. 6 The light is dark in his tent, and his lamp above him goes out. 7 The strides of his strength are narrowed, and his counsel casts him down. 8 For he is cast into a net by his feet, and into a mesh he walks. 9 A trap seizes him by the heel, and a snare shall prevail over him. 10 A cord for him is hidden in the ground, and a trap for him upon the path.
