7 So they entered the land of Egypt (land of bondage) because they did not obey the voice of the LORD {YHWH}, and they went as far as Tahpanhes (You will fill hands with pity). 8 Then the word of the LORD {YHWH} came to Jeremiah (whom YHWH has appointed) at Tahpanhes (You will fill hands with pity): 9 “In the sight of the Jews, pick up some large stones and bury them in the clay of the brick pavement at the entrance to Pharaoh’s (great house) palace at Tahpanhes (You will fill hands with pity).
