1 “Sing out, O barren woman, who has not given birth! Break forth in song and cry aloud, one not having travailed! Because more are the sons of the desolate woman than the sons of the married woman,” says YHWH. 2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings! Do not hold back! Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes! 3 For to the right and to the left you will break through, and your seed will inherit the nations, and will settle the cities left desolate. 4 Do not be afraid, for you will not be ashamed; and you should not be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. 5 For your husband is your Maker; YHWH of Hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel—He is called the God of all the earth. 6 For like a wife forsaken and pained of spirit, YHWH has called you; and a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,” says your God. 7 “For a small moment I have forsaken you, and with great compassion I will gather you; Isaiah 54:1-7, Berean Literal Bible.
