4 so the king of Assyria will lead away the captive of Egypt and the exile of Cush—young and old—naked and barefoot, and their buttocks uncovered, the nakedness of Egypt. 5 And they will be dismayed and ashamed of Cush as their hope and Egypt as their glory. 6 And the one dwelling on this seacoast will say in that day, ‘Behold, this was our hope, where we would flee there for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria. How then can we escape?’” Isaiah 20:4-6, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
