9 And they came to the place that God had told him, and there Abraham built the altar and arranged the wood, and he bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. 11 And the angel of YHWH called to him from the heavens and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Behold, I am here.” 12 And he said, “Do not stretch out your hand upon the boy, and do not do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only one, from me.” 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a ram behind him, caught in the thicket by its horns; and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place “YHWH Yireh,” as it is said to this day, “On the mountain of YHWH it shall be seen.” Genesis 22:9-14, Berean Literal Bible.
