1 And I looked, and behold, at the firmament that was over the head of the cherubim was like a stone of sapphire, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne, was seen above them. 2 And He spoke to the man clothed in linen, and He said: “Go to the midst of the wheel, to beneath the cherub, and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city!” And he went in before my eyes. 3 And the cherubim were standing on the south side of the house, at the going in of the man, and the cloud filled the inner court. 4 And the glory of YHWH went up from the cherub, over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of YHWH. 5 And the voice of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of El-Shaddai in His speaking.
