3 And she was not able to hid him anymore, and she took for him an ark of papyrus and daubed it with tar and with pitch, and she put the child in it and she placed it in the reeds along the edge of the River. 4 And his sister stationed herself from a distance, to know what would be done to him. 5 And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the River, and her maidens were walking along the hand of the River. And she saw the ark in the midst of the reeds, and she sent her maidservant and she took it. 6 And she opened it, and she saw the child, and behold, a boy weeping.
