2 And it was in the day which ye shall pass over Jordan to the land that Jehovah thy God gave to thee, and set up to thee great stones, and plaster them with lime. 3 And write upon them all the words of this law in thy passing over, so that thou shalt go in to the land that Jehovah thy God gave to thee; a land flowing milk and honey, as Jehovah the God of thy fathers spake to thee. 4 And being in your passing over Jordan ye shall set up these stones which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and plaster them with lime.
