15 the father and the young woman—and mother—shall take and bring out the tokens of virginity of the young woman to the elders of the city at the gate. 16 And the father of the young woman shall say to the elders, “I gave my daughter to this man as a wife, and he detests her. 17 And behold, he has charged her with shameful conduct, saying, ‘I did not find your daughter a virgin,’ and these are the tokens of the virginity of my daughter.” And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 18 And the elders of that city shall take the man, and they shall discipline him.
