Even to you, who in times past were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil works, has been given peace,

Through the sacrifice of his body and his death, so that he may raise you before him, holy, and without reproach and blameless:

If you continue in your faith and your foundation is firm, and if you are not moved from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which has been preached to every creature which is under heaven and for which I, Paul, have become a minister;

And now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and make up that which is lacking of the sufferings of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

For which I became a minister, according to the dispensation of God which has been given to me for you, fully to preach the word of God everywhere;

Even the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is revealed to his saints:

To whom God wanted to make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ among you, the hope of our glory;

Him we preach, and teach, and make known to every man in all wisdom, that we may bring up every man perfect through Jesus Christ;

And to this end, I labour and strive through the help of the power which is given to me.
