19 But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, and having stoned Paul, they dragged him outside the city, supposing him to have died. 20 But the disciples having surrounded him, having risen up, he entered into the city. And on the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe. 21 And having proclaimed the gospel to that city and having discipled many, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, 22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith and that “through many tribulations it is necessary for us to enter into the kingdom of God.” 23 And having appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed, with fasting they committed them to the Lord, in whom they had believed. 24 And having passed through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia, 25 and having spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26 And from there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work that they had fulfilled. 27 And having arrived and having gathered together the church, they began declaring all that God had done with them, and that He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. 28 And they remained no little time with the disciples.
