1 Simon \Simeon/ Peter (rock), a servant {doulos} and apostle (sent one) of Jesus (YHWH saves) Christ (the Anointed One), To those who through the righteousness of our God {Theou} and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you⁺ through the knowledge (discernment) of God {Theou} and of Jesus (YHWH saves) our Lord {Kyriou}. 3 His divine power {dynameōs} has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge (discernment) of Him who called us by His own (to His own) glory {doxē} and excellence. 4 Through these He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you⁺ may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 2 Peter 1:1-4, Berean Annotated Bible.
