9 When they came to the threshing floor of Chidon (Nacon), Uzzah (strength) reached out and took hold of the ark, because the oxen had stumbled. 10 And the anger of the LORD {YHWH} burned against Uzzah (strength), and He struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God {Elohim}. 11 Then David (beloved) became angry because the LORD {YHWH} had burst forth against Uzzah (strength). So he named that place Perez-uzzah (breach of Uzza), as it is called to this day. 12 That day David (beloved) feared God {Elohim} and asked, “How can I ever bring the ark of God to me?” 13 So he (beloved) did not move the ark with him to the City of David; instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom (servant of Edom) the Gittite (belonging to Gath). 14 Thus the ark of God {Elohim} remained with the family of Obed-edom (servant of Edom) in his house for three months, and the LORD {YHWH} blessed his household and everything he owned. 1 Chronicles 13:9-14, Berean Annotated Bible.
