1 AND I saw on the right hand of him who sat on the throne a book, written within and on the back and sealed with seven seals. Then I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.
2 Then I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?” And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?”
3 And no man in heaven above, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look on it. And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it, But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.
4 And I wept exceedingly, because no man was found worthy to open the book, neither to look on it. and I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.
5 And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not; behold the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Scion of David, has prevailed and he will open the book, and the seven seals thereof. And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book from the right hand of him who sat upon the throne. And he went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne. He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.
8 And as he took the book, the four wild beasts and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, and everyone of them had a harp and a cup of gold full of incense, and these were the prayers of the saints. And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.
9 And they sang new praise saying. You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 And have made them to our God kings and priests: and they shall reign on the earth. and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.” You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
11 And I saw, and I heard as it were the voice of many angels round about the throne, and the beasts, and the elders: and their number was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing. saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and all that are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying, To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing, and honor, and glory, and dominion for ever and ever. And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him who lives for ever and ever. And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped. The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
