2	And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3	And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying: “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them as their God.	And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.	And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
4	‘And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’ and death will be no more, nor mourning nor crying nor pain; they will be no more, because the first things passed away.”	He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”	He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5	And the One sitting on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He says, “Write, because these words are faithful and true.”	And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”	He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6	And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one thirsting, I will give of the spring of the water of life freely.	And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.	He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.
7	The one overcoming will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.	The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.	Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
8	But to the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part is in the lake burning with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”	But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”	But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

24	And the nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it.	By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,	The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.
25	And its gates shall never be shut by day, for there will be no night there.	and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there.	On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.
26	And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.	They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.	The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.
27	And anything defiling, and those practicing abomination and a lie, never shall enter into it, only those written in the Lamb’s book of life.	But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.	Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
