1 YHWH reigns, let the earth rejoice, let the many shores be glad! The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad! The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.
2 Cloud and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. 10 O lovers of YHWH, hate evil; He preserves the souls of His holy ones; from the hand of the wicked He delivers them. O you who love the LORD, hate evil! Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Light shines on the righteous, and gladness for the upright of heart. Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart. Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.
12 Be glad, O righteous ones, in YHWH, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness! Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name! Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.
