1 Yahweh reigns, He is clothed with majesty; Yahweh has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is established, it will not be shaken. The LORD reigns; he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.
2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting. Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting. Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.
3 The rivers have lifted up, O Yahweh, The rivers have lifted up their voice, The rivers lift up their pounding waves. The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. The seas have lifted up, LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
4 More than the voices of many waters, Than the mighty breakers of the sea, Yahweh on high is mighty. Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty! Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the LORD on high is mighty.
5 Your testimonies are very faithful; Holiness befits Your house, O Yahweh, forevermore. Your decrees are very trustworthy; holiness befits your house, O LORD, forevermore. Your statutes, LORD, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.
