How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts! For the director of music. According to gittith. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. How lovely is your dwelling place, LORD Almighty!
2 I desperately want to be in the courts of the LORD's temple. My heart and my entire being shout for joy to the living God. My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3 Even the birds find a home there, and the swallow builds a nest, where she can protect her young near your altars, O LORD who rules over all, my king and my God. Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God.
