1	A psalm of Asaph. God presides in the great assembly; he renders judgment among the “gods\|:	A Psalm of Asaph. God presides in the divine assembly; He renders judgment among the gods:	God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment:
2	“How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked?	“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah	“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah
3	Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.	Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.	Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
4	Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.	Rescue the weak and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked.	Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
5	“The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.	They do not know or understand; they wander in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.	They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6	“I said, ‘You are “gods\|; you are all sons of the Most High.’	I have said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’	I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you;
7	But you will die like mere mortals; you will fall like every other ruler.”	But like mortals you will die, and like rulers you will fall.”	nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.”
8	Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.	Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are Your inheritance.	Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!
