<V 33:1>To David, when he changed his appearance in the sight of Abimelech, and so he dismissed him, and he went away. <V 33:2>I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise will be ever in my mouth. I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Of David. When he pretended to be insane before Abimelek, who drove him away, and he left. I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.
<V 33:3>In the Lord, my soul will be praised. May the meek listen and rejoice. My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
<V 33:4>Magnify the Lord with me, and let us extol his name in itself. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together! Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
<V 33:5>I sought the Lord, and he heeded me, and he carried me away from all my tribulations. I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
<V 33:6>Approach him and be enlightened, and your faces will not be confounded. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
<V 33:7>This poor one cried out, and the Lord heeded him, and he saved him from all his tribulations. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
<V 33:8>The Angel of the Lord will encamp around those who fear him, and he will rescue them. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
<V 33:9>Taste and see that the Lord is sweet. Blessed is the man who hopes in him. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
<V 33:10>Fear the Lord, all you his saints. For there is no destitution for those who fear him. Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! Fear the LORD, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.
<V 33:11>The rich have been needy and hungry, but those who seek the Lord will not be deprived of any good thing. The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
<V 33:12>Come forward, sons. Listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
<V 33:13>Which is the man who wills life, who chooses to see good days? What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,
<V 33:14>Prohibit your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.
<V 33:15>Turn away from evil, and do good. Inquire about peace, and pursue it. Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
<V 33:16>The eyes of the Lord are on the just, and his ears are with their prayers. The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;
<V 33:17>But the countenance of the Lord is upon those who do evil, to perish the remembrance of them from the earth. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.
<V 33:18>The just cried out, and the Lord heard them, and he freed them from all their tribulations. When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
<V 33:19>The Lord is near to those who are troubled in heart, and he will save the humble in spirit. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
<V 33:20>Many are the afflictions of the just, but from them all the Lord will free them. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;
<V 33:21>The Lord preserves all of their bones, not one of them shall be broken. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.
<V 33:22>The death of a sinner is very harmful, and those who hate the just will fare badly. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
<V 33:23>The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants, and none of those who hope in him will fare badly. The LORD redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. The LORD will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
