1 PRAISE the LORD. Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights. Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights! Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights above.
2 Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts. Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts! Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all stars and light. Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars! Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.
4 Praise him, heavens of heavens, and waters that are above the heavens. Praise him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens! Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD; for he spoke and they were made, he commanded and they were created. Let them praise the name of the LORD! For he commanded and they were created. Let them praise the name of the LORD, for at his command they were created,
6 He has also established them for ever and ever; he has made a decree which shall not pass. And he established them forever and ever; he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away. and he established them for ever and ever— he issued a decree that will never pass away.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you great serpents and all deeps; Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all deeps, Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
8 Fire and hail, snow and ice, stormy wind fulfilling his word, fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling his word! lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding,
9 Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars, Mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars! you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
10 Wild beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying fowl, Beasts and all livestock, creeping things and flying birds! wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds,
11 Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the earth, Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth! kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 Both boys and maidens, old men and young men, let them praise the name of the LORD; Young men and maidens together, old men and children! young men and women, old men and children.
13 For his name alone is excellent; his glory is on earth and in heaven. Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven. Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise the LORD. He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his saints, for the people of Israel who are near to him. Praise the LORD! And he has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his faithful servants, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the LORD.
