1 A Psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt You, my God and King; I will bless Your name forever and ever. I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. 3 Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. 4 One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts— One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. 5 the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. 6 They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. And <i>men</i> shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. People will speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They will extol the fame of Your abundant goodness and sing joyfully of Your righteousness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. They will burst forth in speaking of Your abundant goodness, And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion. The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD <i>is</i> gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is gracious and compassionate; Slow to anger and great in mercy. 9 The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made. The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.
