Hallelu YAH! Blessed is the man fearing YHWH; in His commandments he has delighted greatly. Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! Praise the LORD. Blessed are those who fear the LORD, who find great delight in his commands.
His seed is mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness stands forever. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever.
Light has risen in the darkness for the upright—for the gracious, and compassionate, and righteous. Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous. Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
The good man is gracious and lends freely; he contains his affairs with justice. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.
Surely he will not be shaken forever; the righteous will be as a memorial forever. For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.
Of an evil report he is not afraid; his heart is firm, trusting in YHWH. He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is upheld; he will not be afraid, until that he looks on his enemies. His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
He has scattered—he has given to the needy; his righteousness stands forever; his horn is raised high in honor. He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor. They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor, their righteousness endures forever; their horn will be lifted high in honor.
A wicked one will see and be angry; he will gnash his teeth and melt away; the desire of the wicked ones will perish. The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked will perish! The wicked will see and be vexed, they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.
