| 4 | Whoso is foolish, let him turn aside to me: and to them that want understanding she says, | “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” To him who lacks sense she says, | “Let all who are simple come to my house!” To those who have no sense she says, | |
| 5 | Come, eat of my bread, and drink wine which I have mingled for you. | “Come, eat of my bread and drink of the wine I have mixed. | “Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed. | |
| 6 | Leave folly, that ye may reign for ever; and seek wisdom, and improve understanding by knowledge. | Leave your simple ways, and live, and walk in the way of insight.” | Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of insight.” | |
